The Investors Network For Africa (I.N.E.F.A.)

The Investors Network For Africa is a private organisation that regroup all investors from North America and from the rest of the world who are interested in financing big and medium public or private projects in Africa in all sectors.

Our vision is to inspire investors and project promoters from around the world to participate further more in the development of Africa continent.

 


Our Mission

Based in Canada, the main mission of the Investors Network For Africa (I.N.E.F.A) is to mobilize public and private investors from America and from other continents, to finance large and medium-sized government, municipal and private projects in Africa. INEFA also aims to facilitate access to funding for community projects, to help reduce the immigration of young Africans to Western countries and to increase the empowerment of women in Africa.

To be successful in its mission, INEFA offers its members the following services and benefits:

  • Represent the interests of its members in contract negotiations.
  • Present reliable projects and business opportunities to its committed members.
  • Put network investors members in touch with project promoters
  • Provide management tools and resources to its promoters for a better success
  • Promote each of its members and partners wherever necessary;
  • Enhance the capacities of  its members through workshops, forums and conferences as well as social media platforms
  • Advise, Support, Inform and Train engaged investors in their investments approach in Africa when needed.

The INEFA organisation can be approached by any Government or private Investor looking for large investments or great business opportunities in Africa, in all sectors of activity.

Our Team

Robert Yavo, President, CEO (Co-founder)

In Canada (Toronto/Montreal), since 1990 with more than 25 years in work experience in IT, System Engineering and Consulting,  as well as in IT and Project  Management and Education for medium and big size companies, like Microsoft Canada, Citigroup Financial, Morgan Stanley, CGI, and Matrix College, Mr Robert Yavo has built and demonstrated an excellent reputation of creativity and innovation, and shown his good spirit and  habilities to lead, advise, motivate and train people around him and  under his leadership.

Recently, for the past 5 years, he provided training in the following areas:

  • IT & Project Management, Governance Audit and Security (COBIT 5.0, GTAG, ITIL, ISO 27001/2/5, NIST,  NSA, CISA, CSSP, etc.) ;
  • Complex Programs and Projects Management; (AGILE, PMbok, MSProject, etc.)
  • Business Systems/Software/Database Analysis, Design and Development (UML2/VISIO/BPMN/IEEE/ISO/SCRUM, etc.)
  • Enterprise IT Infrastructure solutions and Web Technologies (Design and Development);
  • Civic, moral and spiritual education

Mr. Yavo is  a partnership and financial representative of the RAPGP (African Network of Project Management Professionals) and has also worked as Administrator and Director of public relations for non-profit organizations where he chaired executive and general meetings. He is a co-founder of Fondalis-Canada a non-profit organization to fight against  sickle cell anemia, poverty and  other unknown diseases in Canada and in Africa.

Mr Yavo hold a Master\'s Degree in IT, and a Specialized Degree in Governance, Financial System Audit and IT Audit and Security. He also hold a Major Degree in Adult Education training and several other certificates in Enterprise, Programs and Projects Governance and Management.

Lydie Oussou  Senior VP,  Business Development and Strategy (Co-founder)

With more than fifteen (15) years of work experience in african Organization which gathers forty five (45) African countries, she was able to overcome the challenge of the Organization’ survival through completion of advocating missions at High level Authorities (Head of State). As the Interim Director General for two years and half, she represented the Organization at the African Union Commission, at Embassies based in Côte d’Ivoire, and had also led advocating and funds raising missions toward Ministers in several African countries.

Previously, as Vice President Finance and Administration for seven (7) years at african Organization, she completed activities of sensitizing and fund mobilization at the Ministries of ICT in African countries, ensured that guidelines are followed for cost/quality in procurement and managed banking relationship.

Well experienced in organizing meetings either within the Organization (Board of Directors meetings) or with external partners, this from planning, elaborating meetings documents, supervising and leading effective minutes drafting, both in French and English.

Educational background and previous work experiences in finance, credit analysis and internal audit allowed her to contribute structuring suitable financing to bank customers, to coordinate the implementation of improved work procedures by supervising IT Integrated Management Software and training users.

Excellent oral and written skills in both English and French.

Her experience in the management of an intergovernmental Organization, developed her attitude of excellent international exposure. In this challenging and strategic environment, she developed strong determination of result-oriented skills through advocacy.

She performed in an environment mainly composed of men during all those years. Proven sense of respect of diversity, integrity and professional woman.

Holder of a Master in Business Administration from University of Metz (France) and a Graduade Certificate in Bussiness Administration from Georgetown University (USA) with a University diploma in Finance and Accounting from National Polytechnic Institute Houphouet Boigny (Côte d’Ivoire).
